Mama & Wife | Prenatal & Postpartum Fitness | Plant-based
Hi friends! My name is Jesse Truelove, I am a wife and mama and have been a NASM personal trainer since 2014. I have my Associates in Kinesiology and Bachelors in Business. I am also a womens fitness specialist and pre/post natal certified trainer. I run my website www.movewithtruelove.com where I share all things fit-mamahood & plantbased recipes! My husband and I have been together since highschool, going on 11 years and have a daughter, Radley Haze. We have a bunch of animals, like a whole zoo, we take in all the strays, so our home is always full. I have trained women in gyms, outdoor bootcamps, group circuit classes and private studios. It wasn’t until after my very, very rough delivery with my daughter, 26 hours of labor ending in an emergency c-section, that I realized that there missing information for mamas out there in the postpartum season. At least the information that was safe, effective and core healing wasn’t there. Everything changed for me and my view on “fitness”. I now focus my training on mamas in most vunerable parts of their lives, rebuilding their strength, cores, pelvic floors and confidence postpartum. I am MOVED by MAMAS, by WOMEN and the shear power we have! What our bodies can do is amazing having had a baby or not. But it can be hard to remember when you look in the mirror to see a body that you don’t recognize. I want to change that narrative. I want you to love what you see and feel in that body. I want to empower women to love their bodies and to step into their inner and outer strength.
Oh gosh! Only one!? I’d have to say hamstrings! Those dang things get so tight!
When did you start foam rolling?
I was first introduced about 5-6 years ago when I really got started lifting weights. I had been an athlete all my life, gymnastics, tennis, track, horseback riding…and was never introduced! I wish I had known years before!
How has MOBOT helped you?
Focusing on recovery as much as effort, especially while traveling
Your advice to anyone new to foam rolling?
It hurts so good! So take it easy, find a knot, and breathe through it! Stay hydrated when you are rolling your muscles too. You will benefit from this more than you know!
